Omegarose
Granite

Structure: The OMEGA ROSE is a gray-rosy granite [lat. granum = grain]. The colour of the stone appears from light-pink to meat colors, caused by approx. 50% orthoclase (potash-feldspar). White plagioclase (Ca-Na-feldspar) arises subordinated. Quartz can be colorless or light-grey. Black biotite (mica) is evenly in the rock distributed. Of the texture a relatively homogeneous rock. Nests and other mineral accumulations are however natural.
Characteristics: After the MOHS hardness scale (1 = chalk, 10 = diamond) possesses the OMEGA ROSE a degree of hardness of 6-7 and ranks thus among the hard rocks. It is to a large extent frost steady.
Emergence: The OMEGA ROSE is a depth rock, i.e. it is as magma complex which remained in the earth's crust and did not reach the surface. It solidified slowly in the crust, thus large feldspar crystals could develop.
Age: 250 million years (Permian).
Use: The OMEGA ROSE is to be used as hard rock in the interior and external architecture, main as floor mats, stairs, fronts etc.
